NOTE: LEFT-CLICK ON THE IMAGE TO GET A FULL VIEW.

This sculpture bust of Mr. Gennady Stolyarov II was created by artist Wendy D. Stolyarov out of Plastiline and then cast in plaster. The sculpting occupied 10 hours of time, and the refining of the plaster version after casting took an additional 5 hours. The style of the sculpture is intentionally geometric, emphasizing the planes and angles of the face, hair, and clothing. The aim of this style of sculpture is to focus on the shapes that define the structure of a face, which can still greatly resemble the person being depicted even with many of the more specific details omitted. Mr. Stolyarov is depicted wearing a toga.
