Reviews:

Christopher Schlegel's Review

"The novel Eden against the Colossus by G. Stolyarov II is at once an amazing sci-fi story, an excellent adventure novel, an exciting detective-intellectual puzzle and an outstanding work written from an Objectivist philosophical perspective... The author has envisioned an astonishing array of advanced technology, a highly organized, complex future human society based on the concept of a “meritocracy” (its central feature being laissez-faire capitalism)... The advanced technological scope is, quite simply, incredible.  Stolyarov has worked out many concepts, some in great detail about the future developments of the human race... Many people living in the present have ZERO sense of history or what the social pre-conditions of freedom actually are; the author, however, completely understands these issues and integrates them convincingly into the storyline."

Sarah Brodsky's Review

"Eden against the Colossus seems to have the science fiction plot of Isaac Asimov’s Foundation but the ideals of Ayn Rand’s philosophy of Objectivism. Mr. Stolyarov appropriately addresses the issues within the novel by bringing up both sides of his argument and confidently carrying them down to their foundations, thus showing the reader exactly what he intends to promote. The novel is written in a very logical manner. It has a step-by-step feel to it, making the philosophical arguments presented within the novel very easy to follow. Each paragraph has purpose and a conclusion that leads to the next. There is no fluff and no nonsense...  Mr. Stolyarov has found the perfect means to his ideal. He has shown his readers why change is necessary in our society and what we can do to promote that change. This book is for sci-fi lovers, intellectuals, open minds, and mystery buffs. I highly recommend Eden against the Colossus to anyone who loves a carefully planned novel that keeps its readers thinking until the very end."
