Commonly Misunderstood Concepts: Health Care:
G. Stolyarov II
October 12, 2009
Health care is not the same as health insurance, which is neither necessary nor sufficient for proper health care. Mr. Stolyarov notes that many people ignore or neglect their own role in providing health care, and misunderstandings of this term threaten many lives. Some of the fundamental problems with the Obama administration's health care "reform" proposals are also discussed.
Is Michael Moore a Jesus Freak?:
Edward Hudgins
October 13, 2009
It's no secret that Michael Moore hates economic liberty; the theme of his movie Capitalism: A Love Story is that the free market is evil. But unlike most on the extreme left, Moore attempts to justify his views based on his Christian Catholic religion. Dr. Edward Hudgins writes that those Christians and religious individuals who rightly reject Moore's moral mess must look to an objective standard of morality to oppose him, lest they be hoisted by their own Biblical petard.

Saving the Earth by Hating Humanity:
Alan Caruba
October 13, 2009
Alan Caruba writes that one singular fact stands out in all Green propaganda and permeates all the legislation and other programs they sponsor. It is a contempt and disdain for the Earth’s human population. The leaders of the movement hate humanity. Obsessed with population growth, anything that can reduce it—disease, poverty, famine, or lack of energy is pursued as part of the Green agenda.
Saving Face in Afghanistan:
Ron Paul
October 13, 2009
This past week there has been a lot of discussion and debate on the continuing war in Afghanistan. Lasting twice as long as World War II and with no end in sight, the war in Afghanistan has been one of the longest conflicts in which our country has ever been involved. The situation has only gotten worse with recent escalations. Rep. Ron Paul writes that the continued presence of U. S. troops in Afghanistan is an attempt to save face, an attempt that is doomed to failure.
