Mr. Stolyarov voted early approximately eight days ago and gave his support to Bob Barr in the 2008 Presidential Election. He explains his decision to avoid choosing the lesser of two evils, because the lesser of two evils is still evil, and, besides, there is no clear lesser evil in this election. Whether Barack Obama or John McCain wins, the result will be devastating for the future of freedom in the United States. By voting for a third-party candidate who is closest to one’s principles, one will not only be able to keep one’s integrity intact; one will also be able to indirectly influence the politics of this country in a positive manner by changing the intellectual landscape, influencing the platforms of the major parties, and clearly showing that one does not support the political establishment or the two-party system.
