Mr. Stolyarov concludes his four-part presentation in favor of legal and social legitimization of homosexuality by noting that such legitimization will lead to more stable and more fulfilling homosexual relationships. Much of the impermanence present today in many homosexual relationships is not a necessary consequence of homosexuality, but rather a result of homosexuals having few cultural institutions which enable them to secure and ennoble their relationships. If these institutions were to emerge, there would be much less frustration and resentment among homosexuals – leading them toward happier and longer-lasting commitments and leading the homosexual family to become as much of a bastion of stability as the heterosexual family currently is.
